chai tea latte
06 March 2011 @ 23:01
I tried Starbucks' Chai Tea Latte on Friday while waiting for Michelle and Albert, and I fell in love with it. It's a bit to the sweet side, considering that it was already sweet (since they make it from a syrup) and I didn't know, so I added about half a packet of their Turbinado sugar... but I really like how it's kind of overly spicy. I read somewhere that you can ask the barista to make you one from a teabag so you can add your own sugar to taste, but that costs extra. I'm now on the hunt for a good homemade chai tea mix, because I don't want to pay about $4+ for a small chai tea latte at Starbucks. :(

Mmm anyway, I bought a Thermos thermos sometime last week and it arrived yesterday night :D The lid can be disassembled so that it can be cleaned thoroughly aka there won't be any disgusting gunk in there (which was a problem for a lot of the other leakproof thermoses) as long as it's cleaned regularly. I had a hard time figuring out how to put it back together last night, but my awesomeness finally shone through and I was able to re-assemble it :)
