bleaching (sort of) gone wrong

I bleached my hair today!

Except I didn't read the directions in the back of the packet of bleach. It said to use heat for 10 minutes or so... But I assumed that it was the same as the other bleaches that I have used in the past, so I left it on without heat for around 40 minutes or so.

The result is sort of coppery orange-brown hair that's darker in some places and lighter in others, though you can't really tell in a picture.


Sorry about the dirty mirror and unpleasant nail polish that I've been too lazy to take off. My reaction/sunburn went down quite a bit, thankfully. I think you can still see it if you look really closely at the cheek area near my nose, but at least it's not as bad as it was yesterday.

I'll be re-bleaching my hair tomorrow or the day after... or a week after, depending on how damaged it is and how lazy I am.
