Hello again!

It's always feeling like I haven't blagged in a while. Maybe it's because it's winter break, and that I have nothing to really blag about...? I mean, it's only been 3 days since my last post, so it's not that long of a time. We had a pretty big blizzard though - the snow in some parts of New York went up to 30 inches!

The people that go to public schools are probably quite lucky, because Bloomberg might have kept them open. It's happened before, we had around 18 or 20 inches of snow before and he still kept the schools open. :(

Anyway, I've been playing Killing Floor almost nonstop yesterday and today with the "nerd circle," as James calls it. It's quite scary, but fun at the same time. I actually didn't like it at first because I was all like "fkgjdf;klgjs where's the freaking crosshair omg I can't aim wtf why do I suck" but I didn't know that you had to aim down your sights. :P I sort of think it helps me get used to aiming for the head instead of the chest like I usually do; most the zombies/mutants/monsters move pretty slowly so it gives me time to aim :)

Oh and umm, I drew this one girl's OC a few days ago - it's been a really long while since I've drawn anything, really. He's supposed to be a boy but I have this weird thing of making everything I draw look grossly feminine. I think it's the lips, but it kind of annoys me when I don't draw/color in the lips so I did it anyway:


I've always been jealous of people who can draw things that are (not too) gruesome/violent-looking and still make it look awesome. Like with a lot of blood and SRS faces without big anime-ish eyes and normal-sized noses and mouths :< I think the reason why I kinda gave up drawing stuff was because I can't really find my own style. Even though I draw in a generic anime/manga style and I (sort of?) get compliments for it, I'm sick of it because it's so easy to replicate. But of course, there are those very talented anime artists that do have their own awesome style - I'm not saying that all anime artists suck. :> I think it takes actual skill to draw something realistically, but realistic styles kinda bore me too, because it looks... too real, kind of like something without style. Haha. I'll stop complaining now. Let's look at some pretty art instead ok :)
